Our Founder

Annabel Ade is a British–Nigerian designer and the founder of Studio Ọkàn, a luxury interior design studio blending British precision with Yoruba soul.

She is known for creating interiors that are still, grounding, and quietly powerful — spaces that feel as extraordinary to live in as they are to look at.

Her design language draws on organic forms, natural light, and considered simplicity. Every project balances refinement with function, ensuring that beauty never comes at the expense of how a space is lived in.

Before establishing Studio Ọkàn, Annabel studied Interiors at Central Saint Martins and built her career consulting on some of the UK’s largest construction projects. That dual foundation — creative vision and strategic rigour — informs her approach today: interiors where artistry meets structure, and soul meets strategy.

Studio Ọkàn was founded with a singular mission:
to reimagine how high-value interiors are conceived, experienced, and remembered.

Each project is approached as a work of design philosophy, not just decoration — delivering timeless environments that embody the essence of the people who live in them.
